Celery seeds taste pleasantly bitter when eaten on their own, which is due to the high proportion of essential oils. Crushed in a mortar or mixed with salt, the seeds make an interesting-tasting seasoning.

Use:

Use the crushed seeds in yoghurt and quark, but also in soups or stews. Enjoy.

Storage:

Celery seeds should be stored dry and ideally airtight to retain their intense aroma for a particularly long time.
