Ingredients:

Ammonium hydrogen carbonate, ammonium bicarbonate.

May contain traces of sesame, mustard and celery.

Use:

Horn salt is often used as a raising agent for flat pastries such as shortcrust pastry, speculaas, American biscuits or gingerbread.

Warning: Harmful to health if consumed directly!

Storage:

Hartshorn salt should be stored dry and ideally airtight and separated from other foods to prevent any ammonia that may be released from spreading.
