Hildegard von Bingen: The great mystic lived in the Rhineland from 1098 to 1179. The nun and later abbess worked as a theologian, poet, composer and doctor. She received her profound knowledge in visions, which she had written down from 1141 onwards. Many of St. Hildegard's works have been handed down and are currently experiencing a renaissance. Her knowledge and herbalism are contained in the books "Physica" and "Causae et curae". Here you will find many practical recommendations and recipes for nutrition.
