Hawaii salt red - Alea Red Gold - decorative salt!
Salts have a long tradition in Hawaii, just like in many other cultures. For the Hawaiians, salt is an essential component for achieving inner balance. It supports the natural flow of life and symbolizes a deep connection with nature. The various Hawaiian salts with their striking colors reflect the colors of the country - black for the volcanic origins, red for the omnipresent sacred Alaea earth and for freedom, green for the lush vegetation and white for the water that the islands and the snow-covered mountain peaks. The red Hawaiian salt is visually very special with its red color. Our red Hawaiian salt is obtained on the Pacific coast off the island of Molokai by evaporating filtered Pacific water using solar energy. The salt crystals are mixed with mineral extracts. The red Hawaiian salt is mineralized with volcanic earth and gets its red color from the iron oxide it contains.
Use: This red Hawaiian salt goes well with all dishes that lack a round, aromatic salt note. It is particularly good as a decorative salt when preparing and serving. The red Hawaiian salt is not suitable for use in a salt mill.
The red Hawaiian salt consists only of natural components. No artificial flavors or additives are added.
